Parents interested in head coaching teams should submit an online application to MYS.
The purpose of the process is to pick the best qualified candidate each year for the teams that have been selected. The “Coach Application” is simply a process of collecting information on qualified coaches including coaching/playing experience, coach training and coaching licenses (USSF G-A licenses). In addition, parent feedback will be incorporated.
After the teams have been selected, MYS will have a committee that will make decisions on coaches for the teams. The committee will consist of MYS Board members. Note that no current or prospective coaches are part of this committee to keep it as impartial and as fair as possible. Coach decisions will be made shortly thereafter and will be announced as part of team announcements.
