Medway Soccer News
Hello Medway Soccer Community –
We are excited to announce our 2019 Soccer Equipment Swap for Saturday March 30th from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at Medway Middle School Fields. We’re asking all Medway soccer families to dig through their attic, garage and closets to gather up any unwanted new or ‘gently used’ soccer equipment to donate to the drive. We’ll accept anything soccer related – jerseys, shorts, shin guards, balls, cleats, socks, bags, goalie equipment, pinnies, cones, etc.
You’re welcome to donate any of the above named items by leaving them on the front porch of my home at 3 Rustic Road (behind Restaurant 45) or coming to the actual swap on Saturday March 30th. You certainly don’t need to donate equipment to benefit from the swap as we encourage everyone to take advantage of getting additional use out of the unwanted items. Why spend $50+ on a new pair of cleats that you may get one season out of when one of your neighbors has a gently used pair that no longer fit their kid?? We ask that you please do your best to clean up the equipment, tie cleats together in pairs and put any clothing contributions through a wash cycle before donating.
Our primary intent is to share the donated equipment within our community. In years past, we’ve kept many of the leftover items for future swaps as well as donated some to other worthy causes. If you have any questions at all, please direct them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your support of our soccer community!
